„SAXONIAN IMPRESSIONS” shows various works dealing with the landscape of Saxony and especially the Elbsandsteingebirge.A vacation in the year 2020 was the inspiration for Skenar73 to create abstract landscapes from his impressions.
Some works were created from photographs that the artist took during his walks. Using these photographs as a basis for designing opened up a whole new way of working for him.
The main works are multi-dimensional works in wood, which create a depth of space and make the landscapes literally tangible. The viewer is forced to look closely to determine which shadows are real and which are just paint.
